The TAMU Cybersecurity Competitive Team has been representing Texas A&M in cybersecurity competitions against other universities and teams, both in the United States and across the world. Last semester, the Cybersecurity Competitive Team officially competed in several competitions, most recently winning first place at the Deloitte ACE Competition held at the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association conference in San Antonio.

Visiting Brigadier General (Ret.) Guy Walsh Speaks to Texas A&M Cyber Students
Prior to joining U.S. Cyber Command in 2011, Gen. Walsh had a distinguished career of 31 years of military service in the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard, commanding at the squadron, group and wing levels. He served as the Commander, 175th Wing, Maryland Air National Guard from 2002 through 2009. In 2009-2010, Brigadier General Walsh commanded the 451st Air Expeditionary Wing in Kandahar, Afghanistan, becoming one of the first Air National Guard general officers to command an active duty air expeditionary wing in combat. His talk: “Cyber Attacks: Building Partnership and Resiliency between States and the Military” will take place on February 1, 2018.
