Texas A&M University Recognized as Leader in Cyber-Defense

The technology management program in the College of Education and Human Development has received another boost from the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. Texas A&M was recently designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) for Cyber Defense both in education and research.

Aggies Perform Highly in NSA Codebreaker Challenge

The NSA Codebreaker challenge gave students around the country a chance to put their coding skills to use in a difficult context with a variety of interesting applications. Daniel Ragsdale, a professor of computer science and engineering and director of the Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center, said the event provides student with universal cybersecurity skills.
