The Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center hosted SENTRY (Student Engagement in Research and Technology and cYbersecurity) April 15–17 in College Station, bringing together students, staff, and faculty from fellow Senior Military College (SMC) Cyber Institutes for a few days dedicated to student research and professional connection.
The conference featured a lineup of guest speakers, breakout sessions, and student poster presentations, giving CLDP scholars the chance to showcase their work and engage directly with professionals in the field. Among the featured speakers was U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas K. Hensley, commander of the Sixteenth Air Force (Air Forces Cyber) and a Texas A&M alumnus, who spoke on strategic leadership in the cyber domain and preparing the next generation of cyber leaders.
Outside the conference sessions, guests toured the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library before closing out the weekend with a farewell dinner.
